According to the literature review, it has been brought to light that the vernacular architecture of the country's population is an indigenous regenerative architecture. This paper aims to explore the regenerative design method in Kurdish vernacular architecture creating a Theoretical framework as an attempt to organize and work with this design method. The paper concluded that Kurdish vernacular architecture uses the method of regenerative design because it is based on the principles of reuse, re-storage and revitalization as well as using all the context resources to live with the environment without wasting resources
