Development of Tairawa Bazar / Erbil

Abstract

Tairawa street is one of the main and local commercial street in Erbil city which 1 0 KM far from Erbil citadel and located in the north, and it is part of Barzani Namer Street local name 30 m), its age more than 80 years, it is commercial street and due to near to Erbil citadel it has been included to Buffer Zone B that has own rules to work with. The goals of this project are : 1. To improve the urban features of the street. 2. Add activities and need which are not available there such as( suitable restaurant, 3. book store, car parking. 4. To increase economic aspects of the street, by adding new shops and fill the needs. 5. Increase greeny presentage 6. To solve the traffic jam problems. 7. To make it to be active 24 hours.To improve the social capacity and provide public social space. 8. To create sustainability area, like using solar energy and green area, recycle trash.
